This is one of the main avenues through which our chief shepherd, Bishop Michael Sis communicates to the whole diocese. He writes monthly articles that are spiritually nourishing and catechetically formative, among other benefits. It also contains other helpful writeups, monthly information, pictorial materials, etc. that keep one updated on what is going on around the diocese.
Please plug in and don't be left out. It is already paid for by the parish, and so it is free for all registered parishioners.

Catholic Charities Needs YOUR Help!
Have you ever wondered what your donations are used for at Catholic Charities Odessa? One of the most important programs we have that serve our community is the Cory Learning Center. I think we all know that a lack of basic education can prevent a community from developing at a steady rate and contributes to the struggle of those living in poverty. Education is key to getting an individual and their family out of poverty allowing them to maintain the household without assistance. Every class offered in the Cory Learning Center help to prepare an individual to become an active contributing member of our community. The Cory Learning Center provides adult students with the opportunity to succeed at home and in the workplace by removing barriers that will ensure that generational poverty can stop. Catholic Charities Cory Learning Center offers classes in GED (Online, In-Class & Spanish), Adult Basic Education, Financial Literacy, Computer Literacy, ESL, and Citizenship Test Prep. Thanks to our incredible donors, like you, that support the good works of Catholic Charities Odessa, we offer these classes free of charge to the community. Every year we have over 450 students that successfully complete these courses through the center. Our GED test prep class is recognized by the State of Texas as a GOLD Star Test Prep Center.
On behalf of the students we serve, thank you foryour continued support!
