INFANT BAPTISM
Birth to 7 years old
In order to baptize at St. Elizabeth’s, the parents of the child must be registered members of St. Elizabeth’s, or live within our boundaries, otherwise a letter from your home church should be presented. Parents are required to come into the office to schedule baptisms.
You will need to bring in:
Parents and Godparents must all attend baptism prep classes. Our classes are held at the beginning of each month.
You must register to attend the class! Check the bulletin for dates and times.
Baptism for Children Older than 7
Anyone over 7 years old who wishes to be baptized needs to contact our Religious Education office at 367-4657.
Children
Two years of religious education are required for children preparing for
1st Eucharist as well as 1st Reconciliation.
Generally children begin the program in the 1st grade.
In addition, a special program of preparation for First Eucharist takes place annually involving parents, children and our CCD staff. It is open to children in the 2nd grade and older children.
First Reconciliation takes place midyear and First Eucharist in May.
High School Age and Adults Needing First Eucharist
High school age and non-catechized adults needing this sacrament should contact our Religious Education Director at 432-367-4657.
Adult Confirmation
Adult confirmation classes are held periodically throughout the year. Each of the class sessions are a 12 weeks. Watch the bulletin or call 367-4657 about preparing for this sacrament.

If you are planning to marry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, please contact the office at 367-4657 to complete a brief questionnaire and to begin your marriage preparation.

Pre-marriage preparation is a wonderful blessing for engaged couples.
St. Elizabeth's uses Engaged Encounter Weekend. The EE Weekend takes place in San Angelo.
Couples should contact the parish at least SIX MONTHS, preferably 1 year, prior to their desired wedding date to begin the required marriage preparation.
If you or a family member wish to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please call the office at 367-4657 to make arrangements. A Mass of the Anointing of the Sick is usually scheduled annually on February 11 (the World Day of Prayer for the Sick).
